Buffelsbaai (BuffaloBay) is a beach resort  village between the Garden Route towns of Knysna and Sedgefield.  Buffelsbaai has a long sandy beach that is popular with surfers and swimmers. There is a sheltered bay on the eastern side with a slipway used by powerboat fishermen. The rocky shore on the western side of Buffelsbaai  is popular with anglers.  Most of the property at Buffelsbaai comprises holiday homes. Buffelsbaai offers whale and dolphin sightings.
